McLaren launched a new dealership and promo video targeting the Middle East Market

Like all Super car manufactures if you aren’t selling cars to the oil rich Middle East you will quickly find yourself out of business. Little wonder, then, that the upstart McLaren Automotive is setting up no fewer than six dealerships in the Middle East region, the first of which has just opened its doors.

To help drum up some press surrounding the occasion McLaren Automotive decided to race the awesome MP4-12C around the Yas Island Marina Circuit where the Abu Dhabi Grand prix is run. They also could help themselves by filming some footage in the red sand desserts that surround the City. Like in the Aventador video that we posted last week all of this driving happens on road and is not enhanced by any CGI.

Nothing is lost as a result of the decision, as the images of the car racing up and down the black ribbon of asphalt surrounded by desert are truly beautify. Check out the video below and if you’re in the Middle East you can now place an order for your own MP4-12C.
