How a Modern-Day Car Print Add is Created

To all of my fellow Canadian followers, Happy Thanksgiving!!  I hope that you are all having a great day relaxing and for those of you in Southern Ontario taking full advantage of the unseasonably warm weather.

No big write up as our Turkey is in the oven and the drinks are flowing like a chocolate fountain so we will leave the intellectually stimulating conversation and rants for Tomorrow.  Today however we have a video that will make you think twice about car print adds.  In this video we see how a modern-day car add is hot and then photo shopped so that it can present the perception and persona that the manufactures and the marketing agency are looking to achieve.

There is truly nothing left to chance as every pixel of the print add is reviewed retouched and in most cases created from scratch out of the designers imagination.  It honestly has made me wonder why I’m trying to learn how to take better pictures with a DSLR camera when it looks like I would be just taking a course in photoshop.  Check out the Vimeo link below and let me know what you think in the comment section below.
