Take a Design Walk Through of the 2012 Fisker Karma

There is no question that the 2012 Fisker Karma is a visually pleasing car, both inside and out.  You just get the impression from looking at the car that Henrik Fisker gave himself full cart blanch on the drawing board when drafting up the stunning lines of the Fisker Karma.  Once the car was completely rendered the designs were simply turned over to the Fisker engineers, where they were told to do whatever it takes to replicate the drawings perfectly.  There was going to be no sacrificing the cars stunning good looks because the Rear Suspension was too bulky or the front tower brace couldn’t clear the hood lines.

Make no mistake about it the Fisker Karma is one of the only cars that has been able to maintain 90% of its Concept car good looks and road going features.  I have been racking my brain to think if any other car could make this claim and I haven’t been able to come up with one.  If you can think of one though leave its name below in the comments section.

There has also been no word from Fisker as to how much the Car will cost and when the first one will roll out of their factory however with the Karma being given the 2012 moniker we would hope that means soon.  However the Toronto Website is still indicating that they are only taking Pre-orders at this time and there is no word on shipping date.  We have read that Fisker has received 3000 Pre-order requests for the Karma which is currently being built in Valmet Finland.  With the plants current configuration it has the capacity to produce up 5 cars a week, however that number is expected to jump to 300 per week by November of this year.

With Tesla and their Model S ramping up its promotional tours, we predict that the Electric Luxury Car class is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
